Responsible for Art Direction, UX Design, Interaction Design, Motion Design, Video Editing, Video Optimization, Prototyping

As the stand-alone over-the-top streaming app counterpart to DIRECTV NFL SUNDAY TICKET, NFLST.TV was primed for over 200K subs in 2017 due to its availability in over 20 MDU’s and over 2,800 Universities. Concurrently, the brand and product were poised to undergo a repositioning and restyling that season. As part of this effort, my team conceptualized and created a holistic redesign of the marketing experiences, buy flow, and various digital touchpoints that bridged the brand to the product design while making some fine use of much-needed modern technologies. We leveled up.

Game Changer

The challenge was to both simplify and future-proof the UX to support the many perpetually evolving platforms including the mobile app, web, game consoles, and various operating systems. After a few weekly design sprints we arrived at a solution that made it much easier to maintain with the content now managed independently of the UX & UI which provided the content authors much-needed efficiency for content management and scaling the UX should they need to.

Marketing Website

In partnership with the product team, we aligned the art direction of digital marketing tactics to the product design. We developed the concept and designed a pioneering responsive video marketing experience with some kick-ass NFL video content, improved content management, and scaled segmentation & personalization. This was recognized especially among the working teams as the digital campaign that really set a new standard and a model that would influence our marketing experiences moving forward. This site was smart and badass y'all.

Improved Buy Flow

We created a drastically simplified buyflow experience, which reduced various customer pain points and circumvented known defects. While leveraging components of our design system, we were able to easily style them to the more modern, branded aesthetic of the campaign and product.
